Equipment:
  • Computer (either at home or school) with PowerPoint, Prezi, Animoto, Movie Maker, or similar web 2.0 technology.
  • digital camera - the school media center has multiple cameras that can be checked out if the student does not have one
  • audio recording device - most cell phones have this capability, but the school media center has recorders that can be checked out
  • internet access - the school has computers the students can access before or after school if class time is not enough
  • local media center/library
  • Two adults that have lived in the community as long as the student has been alive - the teacher will help students identify teachers that fit the criteria
